The first Great Auk winner

After a LONG weekend and over 400 pictures to go through & 6 videos we have finally found a winner for the July/August competition. We actually had a really hard time to decide which one picture should win this month. There are just so many good ones. Thank you all. Without further delays, let us crown the first winner in our monthly contest, the winner of the July/August photo/video competition.

Congratulations Joe (together with his father on the pic) and thank you so much for all your contributions. Joe had a few great shots but the winning picture is this one, the one giving him a full refund of his rental car:

 

 

It’s simple, has a great depth to it, the road, the logo can been seen so well and it’s very symbolic too for this first contest. Joe had a few pictures that was fun and interesting but we choose this one. You can see his pics on either Facebook, Flickr or Pinterest.

Again, thank you ALL for your pictures. There are so many of you that deserves a prize. It caught us a little off guard to get so many great, fun & beautiful pics. Can’t wait to see what next month has in store.
